Across the county, there are 16 elementary schools, (a 17th to open in Fall 2007) seven middle schools, six high schools and four specialty schools. Santa Rosa County Schools are one of the two reasons families move to Santa Rosa County.

In 2005, students at our seven high schools earned $ $18,378,296 dollars in scholarships, with a total of 1,432 scholarships awarded. Higher education is also easily accessible from Navarre. The University of West Florida and Pensacola Junior College (PJC) are both located in Pensacola. PJC also has evening classes at Navarre High School. East of Navarre in Okaloosa County, classes are available through Troy State University and Okaloosa-Walton College. Several universities also offer courses at the military installations.
