  • U.S. 98 Corridor Improvements Project Set to Begin

    CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT SET TO BEGIN
     
    The Florida Department of Transportation will begin safety and operational improvements the week of Oct. 14, 2019 on U.S. 98 (State Road 30) between Villa Woods Circle and Ortega Park Drive. The improvements will include milling and resurfacing, new turn lanes, median openings, drainage upgrades, and landscape relocation at the following:

    Traffic Impacts
     
    • There will be lane closures and shifts between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
    • There will be off-duty law enforcement at the intersections of Oriole Beach Boulevard, Best Western Hotel, and Winn Dixie during nighttime paving operations.
    • Motorists are reminded to watch for heavy equipment and workers entering and exiting the roadway.
