Small Business of the Month Award
Members can nominate a business or individual
member that has exhibited outstanding public service. The winner
will receive an award sign to display at your business, an award
presentation at the Commerce and Coffee meeting, and will be featured
prominently for the month they win. The monthly winners will also be
eligible for the Business of the Year / Member of the Year Award.

The Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce recently recognized
Club Z! In-Home Tutoring as the Small Business of the Month
for March 2010. The business opened in 2006, and within the first
three months of business, had "clients" representing every school in the
Navarre Area. Word of their success spread quickly and within months their
client base grew to Gulf Breeze, Pace and Milton. In 2008, the business
expanded into Okaloosa County, and last year purchased the franchise in
Escambia County-now covering the tri-county area. This business has
facilitated the academic success of more than 300 students from 31 schools
and universities. The owner serves as committee members and sponsor on the
Education Committee, Christmas in the Park, and more.
