Education Students Navarre Schools

The Navarre area has four elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school.  Next year the Navarre area expects more than 2,800 elementary students, 1,600 middle school students and 1,700 high school students.  All of Navarre's elementary schools and middle schools are ranked "A" schools. The Navarre High School is also rated an "A" school.  The Santa Rosa County School District serves nearly 25,782 students from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.  Across the county, there are 17 elementary schools, seven middle schools, six high schools and four specialty schools.  Santa Rosa County Schools are one of the two reasons families move to Santa Rosa County.


Navarre Library

Navarre Library Santa Rosa County Library System is a booklovers dream.  The modern facility, located at 8484 James M. Harvell Road, contains a large collection of books, audiotapes, compact discs, CD-ROMs and a home video section.  Computers with free Internet access are also available. Various youth programs are available that serve the needs of youngsters from toddler through high school age.  There is also an active Friends of the Library organization, a group of volunteers who sponsor programs, raise money and promote public awareness of the library.
