To follow up on our recent Educational Webinar that focused on workplace violence and the employer's legal obligations in the event of an active attacker situation, we are offering a comprehensive Active Shooter & Threat Management Virtual Training. This course will be led by Firearms Expert and Retired Law Enforcement Officer with the New York Police Department, Sean Collins with Calusa Security. It is essential for every employer to have a workplace threat management plan and for their employees - especially HR Specialists and Safety Officers - to know what to do in the event of an active shooter or other threat that puts lives at stake.
In 2020, the FBI designated 40 shootings as active shooter incidents, three of which occurred in Florida. In this course, attendees will learn how to recognize behavior signs of a potential active shooter, be prepared if an incident happens and what to do if one occurs in your workplace.
