Dr. Raphael W. Bostic took office June 5, 2017, as the 15th president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, which serves the Sixth Federal Reserve District, covering Alabama, Florida, and Georgia, and parts of Louisiana, MIssissippi, and Tennessee and has branches in Birmingham, Jacksonville, Miami, Nashville, and New Orleans. Dr. Bostic is responsible for all the Bank's activities, including monetary policy, bank supervision and regulation, and payment services. He is a participant on the Federal Open Market Committee, the monetary policymaking body of the Federal Reserve System. Dr. Bostic graduated from Harvard University with a combined major in economic and psychology. He earned his doctorate in economics from Stanford University.
Mark Wilson serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Florida Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, he serves as Chair of the National Council of State Chambers, and on the Board of Directors of the Florida Association of Chamber Professionals, Enterprise Florida, Leadership Florida, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Chamber Foundation, and is an active member of the U.S. Chamber's Committee of 100.
Dr. Jerry Parrish, is the Chief Economist and the Director of Research for the Florida Chamber Foundation. Dr. Parrish is currently an Adjunct Instructor in the Masters in Applied Economics Program at Florida State University. He earned a B.S. in Agricultural Business and Economics from Auburn University, an M.B.A. from Bellarmine University, an M.S. in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Auburn University. He regularly publishes research reports and articles on the Florida economy and Florida's competitiveness.
