The Florida Institute for Political Leadership (FIPL) is a non-partisan program created
by the Florida Chamber of Commerce to recruit and provide campaign training to
candidates and elected officials across the State of Florida.
Whether you are in office or interested in running for office now or in the future, this is the program for you.
Due to the impacts of COVID-19, FIPL has moved towards online training and schools.
Our online school is broken up into a three-day, 2.5-hour session per day interactive
virtual program.
Our focus is local. Our goal is simple: We want to recruit better candidates across
the State of Florida who want to run today or in the future.
It’s free, non-partisan, and open to everyone.
We are not asking you to hire us. We are asking you to partner with us to secure Florida’s future.
The campaign schools are taught by political and policy experts.
FIPL includes:
- a briefing on emerging local and state issues
- informs attendees about local opportunities that are available for appointed or elected positions
- provides guidance on how to prepare to run for office in the future
- offers training on how to run winning campaigns
FIPL does not support or oppose, directly or indirectly, any candidates for public
office, financially or otherwise. It will provide campaign schools and training in a nonpartisan
manner for those interested in running for public office now or in the future.
