To spotlight women’s midlife health, the World Menopause Society and the World Health Organization have designated October as World Menopause Awareness Month.
Our round table of speakers will address Menopause Symptoms and Solutions.
Learn how menopause can affect the health of your bones, as well as your heart health.
Discover non hormonal options like food choices and chiropractic care to help with various symptoms of menopause.
The session also promises some truthful tales of what every woman will experience and how to manage it with humor and grace (and some wine!).

Dr. Amanda Williams is a Cum Laude graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree. She was born and raised in Mary Esther, Florida. As a youngster, she was a competitive gymnast, later becoming a gymnastics coach. Deciding early on, that she wanted to help people achieve a healthy style of living, Amanda chose the career path of chiropractic. Graduating from Fort Walton Beach High School in 2007, she went on to receive a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of West Florida. After finishing her education at Palmer, she decided to start her practice on the Emerald Coast! She is a past representative of the Motion Palpation Institute, a member of the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, and active in the Navarre United Methodist Church. Dr. Mandy is currently pursuing her Diplomate in Pediatric and Prenatal care through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She is the only Webster certified chiropractor in Navarre, Florida and she has a passion for treating pregnant women and children. In her spare time she enjoys going to the beach, helping her husband on his race car and line dancing!
Dr. Sarah Skelly is a board certified family medicine physician with experience in adult and pediatric medicine. She received her master’s degree in public health in 2009 from the University of South Florida and her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic medicine in 2014. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at Inspira Medical Center in Vineland, NJ and graduated with her board certification in 2017. She relocated to the area with her husband after completing her residency. Dr. Skelly previously practiced in Navarre but now practices in nearby Fort Walton Beach as well as Destin one day a week.
Dr. Skelly has special interests in women’s health, preventative medicine and nutrition, bioidentical hormone replacement therapies, and aesthetics. Dr. Skelly enjoys living near the beach and spending time with her family.
Gretchen Carter is a Nutritional Therapist with a BS in Dietetics from Texas Tech University and The Health Sciences Academy. She began her career with Nutri System and Director of School Nutrition for a school district in Texas, as well as working in the restaurant business for many years.
She has been interested in nutrition and cooking since high school. She enjoys cooking classes, reading cookbooks and meal planning. She strives to always eat a healthy, natural diet.
