    Nonprofit organizations contribute greatly to the quality of life in the Navarre area, and the Chamber is proud to have more than 75 nonprofits as Members.

    As part of the Chamber's 2019-2020 Program of Work, the Board of Directors recently voted to add a Non-Profit Committee to promote, support and enhance the nonprofit community of the Navarre area by providing mutually beneficial collaborative opportunities among Non-Profit and For-Profit organizations.

    The Navarre Chamber Nonprofit Committee will allow nonprofits a venue to come together to network, exchange ideas, collaborate and discuss public policy issues impacting the nonprofit community.  The nonprofits can identify and address their needs as well as to discover ways they can share experiences and information as they relate to the Navarre area's business community.  The Chamber will offer unique and dedicated programming to serve these Nonprofit Members.

    The Navarre Chamber Nonprofit Committee will be planning programs that address all challenges faced by not-for-profits organizations.  Some topics are unique to the nonprofit community and some will appeal to the small business community as well. 

    Ultimately the Navarre Chamber Nonprofit Committee programs facilitate collaboration between nonprofit organizations and businesses - thereby building a stronger community.

    Representatives from both nonprofit and business organizations are welcome and encouraged to attend Nonprofit Committee meetings and programs.

    Nonprofit Committee Members Benefit From:

    •             Increased voice in the Chamber advocacy agenda

    •             Access to educational & developmental opportunities on topics related to nonprofit organizations

    •             A platform to publicize volunteer opportunities and access to volunteers

    The Navarre Chamber Nonprofit Committee will be setting goals and working on their first project at the first Navarre Chamber Nonprofit Committee Meeting on Wednesday, October 30th at 8 am at The Navarre Chamber Information Center, 1804 Prado Street.

    Navarre Chamber Nonprofit Committee's 1st Project:

    To develop "The 98 Line to Line 501c3 Nonprofit Coalition" to partner all resources in South Santa Rosa County to create a community that collectively uses its resources for the prosperity of all.
