SUMMARY:Step One Automotive Group Hosts the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office for the Home Runs for Heroes kickball game.
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 2nd\, Step One Automotive Group will be competing against the Escambia County Sheriff's Office for the Home Runs for Heroes charity kickball game. Join us for this event and "give a hand to make the better Escambia" at the Northeast Pensacola Park. Then community event begins at 10:00 AM and the first pitch will be at 11:00 AM. The game will benefit the Escambia County Sheriff Foundation\, an organization formed to support the mission and employees of the Sheriff's Office. This foundation strives to further and foster engagement opportunities while promoting public safety through community outreach and improving the quality of life for every citizen in Escambia County.\n\n\n\nThe event is open to the public. Activities include lunch made by the Sheriff Office's team\, a kid's zone\, DJ\, donut eating contest\, and much more! Step One Automotive Group will donate $100 for each base stolen\, $250 for every run scored\, and $500 for every homerun scored by the Escambia County Sheriff's Office up to a total donation of $5000.\n\n\n\nThe money raised will benefit the Escambia County Sheriff Foundation which includes the Sheriff's Blazer Academy\, an academy to immerse young men ages 13-15 in an environment that provides mentoring on many topics including responsibility\, empowerment\, and respect. Other initiatives include providing baby blankets for newborn "mini-officers".
