As part of the overall front desk operations, the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones.
- Making reservations, cancelations, and any other necessary changes to reservations.
- Attending to the guests needs.
- Assigning room numbers.
- Making keys.
- Closing and opening shifts.
- Counting and maintaining cash drawer and bag.
- Reviewing travel agent reports.
- Check front office accounting records for accuracy.
- Assist in other departments when necessary.
