Building inspections department experiencing low staffing levels

The Santa Rosa County Building Inspections Department is currently experiencing low staffing levels due to illness. Customers may experience delays in permits, returned calls and inspections.

Inspections will be prioritized and are not guaranteed for the day in which they are requested. Roof permit inspections may experience longer delays than normal. 

Those needing to visit the office are asked to schedule an appointment using the online calendar. Citizens are also asked to not visit the office if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or other viruses.
