• CHILDREN IN CRISIS NEEDS FOSTER PARENTS

    Children in Crisis (CIC) and Families First Network (FFN)will cohost a Foster Care Recruitment Event on April 23rd, Noon to 2 o’clock p.m. at CIC’s Kid’s Clubhouse located at 1000 Luke’s Way, Fort Walton Beach, FL.   


    There is a shortage of Foster Parents in District 1 area which includes Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton Counties.  CIC will be recruiting Foster Parents to come live in their homes in The Children’s Neighborhood.   CIC’s program staff will train and license foster parents in The Children’s Neighborhood.   Many wraparound services are provided to CIC’s Foster Parents including the rent-free home, utilities, vehicles for transporting children, access to Kay’s Cupboard (Food and Clothing Pantry).  

    In addition, services for the children including “Homework Club” and specialized tutoring needed.
      FFN will be recruiting Foster Parents for traditional foster care in your home.
