    The UWF Argos Invade the Capitol
     
     
    Last week Representative Williamson welcomed the University of West Florida Argonauts, the 2019 National Division 2 Football Champions to the Capitol. Before the team's arrival, he filed CR8029 (University of West Florida Football Team) commemorating their historic run to the national title. CLICK HERE to read the full ceremonial resolution.
     
    Representative Williamson, along with fellow Northwest Florida Legislative Delegation members, gathered on the House floor with the group before gaveling in to share how much the team's win has meant to the Panhandle.     HB747: Coverage for Air Ambulance Services
    (PASSED)
     
    This bill was passed unanimously on Feb. 20 by the House. It requires health insurers & health maintenance organizations to provide reasonable reimbursement to air ambulance services for certain covered services and sets guidelines specific to those reimbursements.

    HB1437: Safety of Religious Institutions
     
    Authorizes church, synagogue or other religious institution to allow concealed weapons or concealed firearms licensee to carry a firearm on its property for certain purposes.
