Florida department of health in santa rosa county highlights recent efforts in Providing covid-19 vaccine

Tallahassee, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County (DOH-Santa Rosa), in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, Florida Division of Emergency Management and Santa Rosa County Division of Public Safety is providing the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible Santa Rosa County resident. In an effort to keep Florida residents and visitors safe and aware regarding the status of the virus, DOH-Santa Rosa will issue updates as new information becomes available.
County health departments have an important role to play in administering vaccine. Here’s a summary of some of our top efforts this week.
- In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order 20-315, DOH-Santa Rosa continues to offer the vaccine to individuals in the designated priority groups who are residents of Santa Rosa County.
- Santa Rosa County has transitioned to a state-managed system residents can access to add their name to the waiting list to receive their vaccine at the Santa Rosa County Health Department. County residents can call 866-201-7110 or go online to myvaccine.fl.gov. This line is for Santa Rosa County residents only. TTY is also available for the deaf and hard of hearing at 833-476-1035.
DOH-Santa Rosa continues to fight to protect health and safety as the rollout of COVID-19 vaccine continues.
