• Florida ESF 18 Update - Hurricane Laura - 08/25/2020

    Good Morning, ESF 18 Partners-
    Attached is the latest report from the state meteorology team regarding Hurricane Laura and the remnants of Marco. Please note the following:
    Hurricane Laura
    • All direct impacts from Laura have ended.
    • All watches and warnings have been canceled for the Florida Keys.
    • Nuisance coastal flooding at high tide over the next few days is possible in the Panhandle and Big Bend, with tides running about 1.5’ above normal.
    • All impacts from Marco have ended for Florida and all watches and warnings have been canceled/expired.
    We will continue to monitor for future systems and provide updates as necessary.
