    UPDATES & MORE FROM THE GATEWAY TO THE GULF COAST
     
     
     
     
     
     
    We're excited to announce that our plans to modernize and expand the airport are getting started! 

    As part of our long-range plan to upgrade our terminal, build an additional concourse, and expand parking options, we are starting work to replace the airport escalators. 

    The work will begin on the "down" escalator in early February and last throughout the spring. Work on the "up" escalator will begin in the fall. We are hoping to avoid the escalators being out of service during the busy summer season.

    In the meantime, plan ahead and use the elevators or the steps, and give yourself some extra time to get to baggage claim or to your ride from the airport.

    That's right...your favorite place to "Eat Mor Chikin" at Pensacola International Airport is back open! 

    After closing last fall for renovations and kitchen upgrades, we're happy to announce that Chick-fil-A is back open and serving customers. The new facility is intended to serve a wider range of Chick-fil-A menu options, as well as offer a more efficient dining experience for customers.

    Just what other menu options will the new Chick-fil-A offer? You'll have to stop by to find out!

    We anticipate that the work on the down escalator may take a few months. That means if you're arriving at PNS, you may want to make plans to use one of our elevators, located on either side of the stairwell.

    Or, if you are able, feel free to take the steps down to baggage claim.

    As always, if you need any assistance, look for one of our Customer Service Representatives and ask for help. 

    We anticipate this year being another busy travel season, so as always, plan ahead, arrive early, and give yourself plenty of time to park, check in, and get through security.
