    Gulf Power
We're working to restore power following Hurricane Sally
Hurricane Sally caused significant damage throughout our service area, primarily in Escambia, Santa Rosa and Okaloosa counties. Our crews worked through the night, helped by a workforce of nearly 7,000. They restored power in between bands of severe weather when it was safe to do so, and they'll continue to work around the clock to restore power until all customers have their lights back on.

We have restored power to many of the counties and communities we serve. This is good news for our customers in the hardest hit areas, which includes Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, because this means we are now taking even more crews that were working in other areas and moving them there.

We know you need information to make decisions for you and your family. The most up-to-date information can be found on GulfPower.com, the Gulf Power Mobile AppFacebook and Twitter. Please know, to restore your power, we begin in multiple locations and follow an overall plan that calls for restoring power to the largest number of customers safely and as quickly as possible.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and urge your continued safety. If you see our crews at work, please maintain proper social distancing for your safety and theirs – and we encourage you to stay off the roads to keep them clear for our crews to work. If you do drive, use extreme caution. Power interruptions may cause traffic signals to stop working without warning.

Stay far away from downed power lines, flooding and debris, as lines could be energized and dangerous. Also, keep generators out of your home or garage and well away from open windows to prevent dangerous fumes from entering your home or a neighbor’s home.
