From the Director's Desk:
A Time to Give Thanks |
On one holiday hand, your pumpkin is probably still sitting on your porch. On the other holiday hand, Christmas stuff is filling retail and craft stores, while some area radio stations are eager to launch a 24/7 holiday music schedule. Here at the Y, we want to be sure that somewhere between the jack-o-lanterns and mistletoe, we make time to celebrate the season of thanks. |

Spotlight On:
Mike Makarowski |
Mike Makarowski doesn’t expect life to be fair. It goes back to an experience he doesn’t even remember – one that happened with he was a toddler. But that experience – as with other setbacks in life – has never held him back. |

Exercising Together:
Yogalates at the Pullum Y |
Fall into fitness with us at the Betty J. Pullum Family YMCA by trying out a new class. We are now offering Yogalates on Mondays at 4 pm. Yogalates is inspired by yoga and Pilates, just like the name suggests. This class focuses on harnessing the physical and mental benefits of both practices. |
