The mission of the Santa Rosa Kids' House is to deliver a well-coordinated and multi-disciplined response to child abuse in an environment that puts the needs of the children first
    Child Safety Matters
The school board approved to allow SRKH to teach Child Safety Matters at Elementary Schools in Santa Rosa County. Starting in 3rd grade children will be empowered by learning measures to help adults keep them safe.
    Meet Alexis Dabbs
She is a part time employee of the SRKH and assists with data entrance. She is known around the house as the Data Boss. Alexis' husband Bobby often volunteers around the house making repairs and doing handy work. They are both an asset to our team.
Alexis is a retired educator, she and her husband live in Pace and spend a great deals of time with their lovely grandchildren.
Legends in the Fall was a success! All that came out seemed to have a good time. The fellowship was amazing with the friends and neighbors who joined us and we met some new friends too.
There was also a special guest performance from the some of the staff. It was funny to see them out of their element!

We are moving away from Angel Tree!
We are helping Santa Claus out by having an annex for him at the SRKH! We will be gathering tons of toys for the boys and girls who are working with DCF, GAL, therapy services, SRSO, MPD, and SAO. We need your help to make this year great for the children we serve. We are asking for donations of new toys and clothing.
We hope you can join us for this fun event. Last year it was FREEZIN but it was for a good REASON! This is the 10th Anniversary so its going to be one of the best.
Jay High School Spanish Club came in for a visit bringing fabulous donations. 43 Teens came and toured the facility and helped with some much needed work around the house.
Halloween was a busy day around the house as we had a trunk or treat event and the facility was filled with children and their families having a great time getting candy, information and entertainment.
SRKH Teen Board is in full swing. We are still looking for members from Navarre and Central High School to participate. Teens must be a Junior or Senior and have their own transportation. Members will meet monthly at the SRKH and learn the functionality of the multidisciplinary process.

Meet Liz Simmons. She is one of the Board of Directors at SRKH. She has been serving the Kids' House since 2010. She graduated college in Tallahasee and currently resides in Navarre, Fl. Liz is most definitely one of the hardest working and kind hearted ladies you will ever meet. She works endless hours serving the SRKH as well as volunteering at our fundraising events. She never walks into the SRKH empty handed, she always brings treats for the kiddos. If you see her around tell her thank you for her service.
Did you know... The ladies of SRKH have a rowdy, silly side? Take a look at them after preforming at the Legends in the Fall event. They brought down the house. They also made $253 in tips to go toward the fundraising.
