    Mask Mandate Moves On…For Now!
Based on the recent federal court ruling we will no longer be enforcing masks at Pensacola International Airport. We know this will be a relief to many of our passengers. We also know that some passengers may choose to continue wearing masks — and that’s okay too.

But, the new ruling does not necessarily affect mask requirements at your destination, and some air carriers may have their own rules. In addition, future federal action could change the status of this ruling so we are asking our passengers to stay informed, be flexible, and continue to be respectful of each other and your air travel crew.

    Passengers Keep Moving Through PNS
The Gateway to the Gulf Coast continues to be a popular destination for visitors and travelers alike. Our latest numbers show that March of this year saw a 42% increase in passengers over March of 2021.

Given that 2021 was a record-setting year for PNS, we are optimistic that 2022 will continue to be a strong year for Pensacola’s travel and tourism.

With this growth also comes the opportunity to begin implementing our long-range plans for the airport. You will already notice expanded surface parking on the 12th Avenue side of the airport. In addition, we hope to start design on a new concourse as early as next year, opening the door for more airlines, larger aircraft, and more non-stop destinations!
