UNITED WAY INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO ITS  2020 ANNUAL MEETING

    Pensacola, Fla. – August 13, 2020
United Way of West Florida (UWWF) invites the community to join the organization on Thursday, August 20 from 10 to 11 a.m. – virtually – for its 2020 Annual Meeting.
In light of the pandemic, the Annual Meeting will be virtual. The program will highlight UWWF’s successes over the past year in the fight for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties. Local philanthropic leaders and volunteers will be honored and there will be special recognition for top workplace campaigns, sponsors, and media partners. Outgoing and incoming board members will also be recognized. The program will conclude with service awards for outstanding businesses, organizations, and community members.
“Although we would prefer to come together in the same space, we are grateful for the opportunity to gather virtually and honor the outstanding work of so many businesses and individuals,” said UWWF President and CEO, Laura P. Gilliam.
Join UWWF on August 20 to learn how your donations, commitment, and volunteer service made a difference in our community over the past year! The Virtual Annual Meeting is hosted by Pensacola State College. Registration is free by visiting https://app.mobilecause.com/f/2e2b/n?vid=ah7e2 or texting ANNUALMTG to 91999.
