    FVSL IS SAVING LIVES

A recent caller to the Florida Veterans Support Line, powered locally by United Way of West Florida, says he was within "inches" of considering taking his own life.

But the connection and camaraderie he felt from the Veteran Care Coordinator on the other end of the line kept him alive.

It started with family problems that left this Army Veteran living in his truck and alone. He couldn't see a path forward. But the Florida Veterans Support Line team wasn't going to let him give up.

3 WAYS TO HELP US STUFF THE BUS!

You can help us make sure students in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties are equipped with the tools they need to succeed this school year! This is the only school supply drive supported by both local school districts.

    Drop Off School Supplies
Hold your own school supply drive. Or drop by one of our participating Wal Mart locations on July 21 to purchase or drop off supplies.

    Make a Gift
Can't make it to one of the drop-off spots? Make a gift and let the schools get exactly what their students need. You can give at uwwf.org/school850 or by texting SCHOOL850 to 44321. Every item and dollar donated will go directly to Escambia and Santa Rosa counties' school districts. Monetary gifts will be used strictly by the school districts to purchase supplies.

    Volunteer
You can volunteer to support Stuff The Bus with various tasks like sorting, packing, and more! Volunteers are essential to Stuff the Bus.
