COMMUNITY DIVISION

Education Committee

  • Serves as liaison between businesses and schools.
  • Co-Hosts the Annual "Treasure Your Health, Wealth & Wellness" Community Resource Fair at Navarre High School that helps fund scholarships for Navarre High School Seniors.
  • In a partnership with one of our members, Kool Breeze of Northwest Florida, they recognize Teachers of the Quarter and Teachers of the Year for all eight Navarre area schools.

Military & Veteran Affairs Committee:

  • A group of Navarre Chamber Members committed to promoting a cooperative working relationship and direct support to the military bases in the Navarre area.  Meets 1st Monday of every month at 11:30 am. (If the 1st Monday falls on a holiday, there is no MAC meeting that month.)

Military Appreciation Picnic:

  • An annual free community event for active duty, veterans, and retired military families in the Navarre area.
  • Free Food, LIVE Entertainment, Games, Door Prizes and more!

#ShopNavarreFirst "Commerce Crew":

  • The Navarre Chamber is always looking for innovative ways to grow our members’ businesses and build community.

Navarre Young Professionals:

  • This is a fun and engaging networking opportunity for young adults to get connected with their community and potential business partners, employers, mentors, or professional peers..
    • Committee Chairs:  Nick McMellon, Bridget House, Andrew Rowe, Tyler Hink and Adina Preston

 

Women 2 Women Connecting:

  • Meetings will be focused on providing relevant programming to professional women, encourage networking, and offer a venue to share ideas, success stories and best practices with other women in the local community.

Christmas in the Park and Parade Committee:

  • Plans and implements the Annual Navarre Community Christmas celebration, which includes a Jingle Bell Run, Parade, a Holiday Marketplace, LIVE Entertainment, Refreshments and Santa.

"Treasure Your Health, Finances & Wellness" Community Resource Fair:

  • The goal of this event is to help connect our community to important resources available from local businesses, non-profit organizations, healthcare facilities and more.

Holiday Open House:

  • Each year, we open the doors to The Navarre Chamber Information Center to welcome our business community to this free event.

Snowbirds Festival:

  • The event will be a great way for snowbirds to meet new neighbors and renew some old memories with friends living in or visiting the Navarre Beach area.

Grand Gala Weekend & Annual Awards/Installation Committee:

  • The Annual Awards & Installation Gala, a signature event of The Navarre Chamber, is a fun evening dedicated to recognizing individuals, businesses and organizations that comprise the Navarre area's dynamic business community.

Shamrocks Stroll 5K Fun Run/Walk/Pet Parade/Costume Contest:

  • The Annual Shamrock Stroll 5K Fun Run/Walk, Pet Parade & Costume Contest is back and better than ever!

Woofstock Dog Festival Committee:

  • Get ready to wag your tails and join us on the back lawn of Pik-itz! Art & Antiques for a doggone good time! This family-friendly event is open to all ages of humans and well-behaved “leashed” dogs.

MEMBERSHIP DIVISION

Navigators Team:

  • Navigators serve as the public relations arm of the Chamber, reaching out to businesses as an extension of the Navarre Chamber.
  • Navigators connect businesses, strengthen membership, and enhance the image of the Chamber.
  • Navigators take an active role in member retention, member recruitment, and Chamber activities above and beyond Ribbon Cuttings.

Business After Hours Committee:

  • Business After Hours events provide an opportunity for Chamber members and Guests to form relationships, which strengthen community bonds; because people do business with people they know..

Commerce & Coffee / Member Showcase Committee:

  • The Chamber's monthly membership breakfast, Commerce & Coffee, typically attracts more than 100 business owners, representatives and community leaders.
  • Each breakfast provides an opportunity to network and establish a relationship with other local business leaders while enjoying a delicious breakfast and informative program.

PROGRESS AND DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

 

 

Government Affairs / Transportation Taskforce:

  • Provides coordination between the Chamber and governmental bodies, Chambers of Commerce, transportation officials, and special committees.
  • Ensures the collective voice of the Navarre Beach area is represented and heard in government assemblies and is a liaison to elected officials and governmental meetings.
