Women 2 Women Connecting (W2WC) is one of the Navarre Chamber Small Business Committee's programs that was organized in January 2014 with the help of two passionate Chamber Members, Cherie Rice and Sarah Hasty. Cherie and Sarah also served as the Co-Chairs of W2WC. The mission of W2WC was to create opportunities and facilitate support for women business owners and managers by providing networking, awareness, mentoring and education opportunities.
After five very successful years, W2WC was put on hold for 2019 for a number of reasons, including the Chamber's purchase of a building, moving and renovating the Chamber's new office location.
Now that we are getting settled in our new office location, we are hearing from a good many of our members that they really want us to bring W2WC back.
As we are making plans for 2020, the Chamber is looking for more ways to connect and engage our members through educational opportunities and innovative outreach. We will be offering a robust schedule of unique and thoughtful programming and events that reflect the most relevant issues facing the business community in the Navarre area.
The schedule will allow our members to:
Collaborate and share points of view
Stay informed and hear from prominent regional business leaders
Make important connections for your organization and professional development
COVID-19 Testing Site to Remain Open Two More Weeks at UWF With No Pre-screening Required
A mobile COVID-19 testing site with no pre-screening required will remain open for two more weeks for Escambia and Santa Rosa County residents at the University of West Florida.
The drive-through test site will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at the SP2 parking lot, which is on the east side of campus near the East Sports Complex. Individuals are asked to remain in their vehicles.
The site was opened at the request of the Governor’s Office under the direction of the Florida Department of Health in conjunction with both Escambia and Santa Rosa counties and assistance from the Florida National Guard.
If you and your management team are wondering if your county is trending in the right direction to continue reopening your community, visit Florida's county level COVID-19 trend tracker and click on your county in the top right drop down box.
